Hi @lawofcycles, thanks for creating this issue and PR, it's great work and I'll look to help with the PR review to help get it pushed through in a timely manner. I'm the author behind #3131 which you referenced. After you created this issue I realized that there was a gap in #3130/#3131 I would like to see this completed and so that I can add the validation loop to `_RewriteFiles`. There, I plan to override the `_validate_concurrency` method within it so that we can add the validation there. I can potentially push through with a version of it now, but once #3319/#3320 complete I would need to refactor, so I think it makes sense to wait for this to finish before continuing (CC: @kevinjqliu, @geruh). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
