## Summary
Fixes issue #94.
- now returns a copied value instead of returning directly.
- Added regression coverage in to verify:
- cast result type is
- binary target type is preserved
- conversion returns independent bytes when cast from fixed input.
This avoids type-mismatch behavior during predicate binding/serialization
paths when casting fixed literals to binary.
