Review Comment:
   ah I don’t think we need it. I set benchmarks to be off by default (see my 
[CMakeLists.txt](https://github.com/apache/iceberg-cpp/pull/825/files#diff-1e7de1ae2d059d21e1dd75d5812d5a34b0222cef273b7c3a2af62eb747f9d20a)
 change), and when users set `ICEBERG_BUILD_BENCHMARKS=ON`, the benchmark 
target should build normally.
