> @NoahKusaba would you be able to extract this functionality as a standalone project under your github space? created project should depend on ballista and iceberg, once we have it extracted we can plan move to datafusion contrib I'm just waiting to get approvals on https://github.com/apache/iceberg-rust/pull/2727.
