@pvary Hi, it’s been a while! I hope you’ve been doing well. I reached out to the Core maintainers to ask for discussion and feedback on this PR, but I imagine everyone has been quite busy. So I wanted to ask if you might be able to take a look at it when you have a chance. Eduard Tudenhoefner suggested on Slack that we discuss this through the mailing list, so I moved the discussion to the dev@iceberg mailing list.
