@rambleraptor, Hive removed `get_table` and `get_table_objects_by_name` in 4.0.1, so every current PyIceberg release fails against a Hive 4.0.1+ metastore with Invalid method name. We're upgrading our shared metastore to Hive 4.2.0 so Iceberg can register `VARIANT` columns ([HIVE-29184](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-29184)), and PyIceberg's HiveCatalog is our Iceberg write path, so the upgrade waits on this fix. Would you consider backporting it to pyiceberg-0.12.x for a 0.12.1?
