mxm opened a new pull request, #18323: URL: https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/18323
The v2.3 directory was added as a copy of v2.1 in https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/17849, which unlinks the history and makes commands like git blame unusable.
