## What - Index first-fit bin lookup for large FIFO packing plans. ## Why - The default plan can check up to 128 open bins for each item. ## Implementation - Use a segment tree after 32 bins are open. - Preserve FIFO eviction and first-fit order. ## Benchmark Go 1.23, AMD EPYC, 16,384 items.
