   ### What
Build normalized Variant paths without creating temporary strings for each
member.

   ### Why
Path normalization can process many members, and temporary strings add work
and allocations.

   ### Implementation
   - Write the normalized path into a single builder.
   - Keep the existing escaping rules for nested and unusual members.

   ### Benchmark
   - Go 1.26.3, Apple M1 Pro, median of 5 runs.
   - Escaped path: 562.1 → 193.4 ns/op (about 2.9x), 296 → 48 B/op, 12 → 1
allocations.
   - Nested 16-member path: 739.9 → 552.8 ns/op (about 1.3x), 6 → 1 allocations.
   - These benchmarks measure `NormalizeVariantPath` directly.
