@laskoviymishka merged main, so overwrite now sits on the snapshot building blocks from #3474 and the diff no longer touches FastAppend or the producer, apart from making `write_added_manifest` crate-visible. Along the way we also gave overwrite a retry state like FastAppend has, so a retried commit keeps its snapshot id and never overwrites an earlier attempt's manifest (20693aa84). The description drops the #3253 paragraph, and https://github.com/apache/iceberg-rust/issues/3586 tracks the unscaled decimal arm.
