## What - Add append-snapshot cherry-picking for v1 and v2 tables. ## Why - Apply files from another branch without copying them. - Iceberg's [ManageSnapshots](https://iceberg.apache.org/javadoc/latest/org/apache/iceberg/ManageSnapshots.html) supports cherry-picking snapshots. ## Implementation - Read files added by the source and append them to the target branch. - Record the source snapshot and WAP ID, and reject repeated publication. - Pin the target branch head during commit. - Always create a new snapshot.
