A bad record in the Flink dynamic sink (null in a required column, invalid upsert config, failed schema evolution) crash-loops the job. This adds an opt-in error stream: records are validated in the convert/update ProcessFunctions and, when `errorStreamConsumer` and `errorStreamFilter` are both set, whitelisted failures are diverted to it instead of failing the job. The write stage stays fail-fast, so exactly-once is unaffected and default behavior is unchanged. Test plan: converter rejects null for required fields; `validateUpsert` cases; update operator diverts whitelisted failures and propagates others; end-to-end error stream preserves upsertMode/equalityFields. --- **AI Disclosure** - Model: Claude Sonnet 5.5 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
