I think that's fine to add, Iceberg really is not setup to handle multiple references to the same file anyway. I'd be fine if we just broke if you try to add a file that is already part of the table. :+1: If you wanted to be more special I think an option to "ignoreDuplicates" would be good but should default to false and throw an error unless the user explicitly asks to ignoreDupes -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
