I believe this covered by one of the many schema change fixes @aokolnychyi did recently. https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/2936 https://github.com/apache/iceberg/pull/2858 But could also be that the Spark Schema is out of sync and you need to call "REFRESH TABLE" since the cached version of the table metadata is out of sync.
