   Can you please take a look at this when you get a chance? I'm wondering if 
there are any concerns from the engine level of having cached tables expire 
eventually.
   
   The actual `table` objects, when used directly or even when serialized / 
deserialized (provided they're not re-loaded from the cache), will not change 
unexpectedly. Only when they've not been accessed via operations on the 
`CachingCatalog` within the time frame and then loaded again will they 
potentially change (i.e. load the newest version).
