Review comment:
Is this really needed in the spec?

catalog-specific
+ configuration values provided by the server, that the catalog (and its
HTTP client)
+ can use to complete the `initialize` step.
+
+ This call is similar to the initial set-up calls that some catalogs
already do for
+ domain-specific information, such as the Nessie catalog or the Glue
catalog.
+ This is to allow for services that would like to integrate with
Iceberg to do so,
+ and to be able to add their own domain-specific information into the
REST catalog without
+ requiring them to write and distribute a catalog themselves.
+
+ There will be two sets of values provided -
+
+ - overrides
+ * An object containing values that the client must use.
+ For example, auth headers that the client will receive from the
server
+ as temporary credentials.
+ - defaults
+ * Catalog-specific configuration that the client may use as a
default value.
+ These are optional and the client is free to use its own value for
these.

Review comment:
Not sure whether it's useful to have a server/url definition in the spec
for Iceberg. This particular one makes it mandatory to use 3 variables, which
makes it complicated to "just use" the correct URL provided by the (web/REST)
server implementation.

Review comment:
Wouldn't it be easier to just return the full set of properties instead
of splitting it up into updated, removed and a maybe not present `notPresent`?

catalog-specific
+ These are optional and the client is free to use its own value for
these.

catalog-specific
+ configuration values provided by the server, that the catalog (and its
HTTP client)
+ can use to complete the `initialize` step.
+
+ This call is similar to the initial set-up calls that some catalogs
already do for
+ domain-specific information, such as the Nessie catalog or the Glue
catalog.
+ This is to allow for services that would like to integrate with
Iceberg to do so,

REST catalog without
+ requiring them to write and distribute a catalog themselves.
+
+ There will be two sets of values provided -
+
+ - overrides
+ * An object containing values that the client must use.
+ For example, auth headers that the client will receive from the
server
+ as temporary credentials.
+ - defaults
+ * Catalog-specific configuration that the client may use as a
default value.
+ These are optional and the client is free to use its own value for
these.

Review comment:
Feels like a `oneOf` would effectively make `IcebergResponseObject`
superfluous and operations can specify the "right" type for each response
without an intermediate `ResponseDataObject` or `ResponseErrorObject`?

+ configuration values provided by the server, that the catalog (and its
HTTP client)

What's the intention of this rootPath/prefix property?
Mean, you need a proper URL with the right prefix to get the
IcebergConfiguration object, so would this rootPath/prefix point to itself?

catalog-specific
+ These are optional and the client is free to use its own value for
these.
