Review comment:
The evictionListener replaces CacheWriter’s delete for an atomic action
under the map’s computation. Since your previous code wrote back into the cache
I think you would suffer the same problem if switching.
Since you don’t use a scheduler, I don’t see how that bug fix affects you.
You can use Caffeine.executor(Runnable::run) to disable async, which
simplifies tests.
