I'm working on this, in the end we plan to have a RewriteDeleteFilesSparkAction. As part of the rewrite, we will do the cleanup of dangling position deletes (ie, unused ones) Almost all the pieces are there. #6365 #6716 #7029 , then after this the action itself. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
