    Description: If, during a handshake, a node gets a rejection and the cause 
is STOPPING, this means that the node on the other side is stopping and is 
going to leave or has already left, so it makes sense to communicate this by 
completing the future with a RecipientLeftException (which is expected by the 
callers) and not with a HandshakeException.
