Tested with demo mode:
# the option 'allow non-collocated joins' is unavailable (unclickable) in demo
mode
# Allow non-collocated joins' doesn't work at all
Query
"select count(*) from Person p
inner join Department d on d.id=p.depid
inner join Organization o on o.id = d.orgid"
returns the same result for both modes.
