Sergey Kalashnikov commented on IGNITE-3608   Re: QuerySqlFunction methods with Object type var args do not work This is a limitation of H2 Database that Apache Ignite uses internally. The user function in the issue description takes arguments of type Object and expects that to work with any type passed. What H2 does in this case is it tries to interpret the value passed as a serialized Java object (byte array). The value 'key20' used in example cannot pass such conversion, hence the failure as H2 expects hexadecimal string to convert it to byte array.
