Correct, there never was streaming support for thin client, hence no
documentation for it. This seems to be right thing as long as thin client
incurs network interaction penalty for all operations which definitely harms
streaming performance. For similar reasons, streaming in old driver works only
when client node is started only from the driver itself.
That said and having looked at history of this issue, I believe it just was in
an invalid state and should had been closed long ago as it apparently had been
fixed long ago as there’s been nothing new to document regarding JDBC streaming
for few months already.
