Your latest change makes sense, also I clarified my understanding of when and
where FailureHandler is called during PageStore initialization process; it
seems my comment in PR isn't relevant as FH will be called anyway in *initDir*
method.
Let's check TC status, if it is OK, please proceed with merging.
