Pavel Konstantinov updated IGNITE-10432:
----------------------------------------
Description:
I've tried to execute our example using sqlline and got the following error:
{code}
2787/5325 INSERT INTO City(ID, Name, CountryCode, District, Population)
VALUES (2769,'Sokoto','NGA','Sokoto & Kebbi & Zam',204900);
Error: Value for a column 'DISTRICT' is too long. Maximum length: 20, actual
length: 21 (state=23000,code=4008)
Aborting command set because "force" is false and command failed: "INSERT INTO
City(ID, Name, CountryCode, District, Population) VALUES
(2769,'Sokoto','NGA','Sokoto & Kebbi & Zam',204900);"
0: jdbc:ignite:thin://127.0.0.1:10800>
{code}
To reproduce:
# start one ignite node (version 2.7)
# start sqlline (sqlline.bat -u jdbc:ignite:thin://127.0.0.1:10800)
# execute in sqlline the command: !run ../examples/sql/world.sql
The same on 2.6 or 2.5 worked w\o error.
