Vasiliy, I tested with string 
"org.my.very.very.very.very.very.very.very.ver.ver.lonng.SQLFunctionClassName" 
in Chrome browser under Windows 8.1 and it is compacted not very accurate.

Also pass number of "/" and $index to compaction function.
