Resolution: Duplicate
We changed the code to prevent the crash in Impala 2.7.0. I believe that the
crash in that place most frequently required a corrupt file to trigger it (a
negative page length would do it) - we tightened up the handling of that over
several releases, notably with IMPALA-3917 in Impala 2.7.0 for Parquet
