Related to IMPALA-7020, it would be useful to materialise truncations, e.g. if
we had an "ORDER BY cast(s as varchar(4))". Currently we would include 's' in
the sort tuple if it was referenced like this in the ORDER BY and the cast expr
is not one of the result exprs.
