Hive2 still has a wide adoption in the industry. With Iceberg, people might not
consider upgrading to Hive3 or Hive4. The lack of support on Hive2 is a blocker
for adopting Impala in the community. We should consider adding back the
support of Hive2 and possibly Hadoop2.
