Our version of gtest is ancient. We should update to googletest (which also has
gmock) at a recent version. Kudu and ORC C++ both use 1.12.1. The latest is
1.14.0.
On my system, googletest 1.12.1 is a drop-in replacement and requires minimal
CMake modifications. The toolchain already has a googletest build that is easy
to update to a recent version.
