Native toolchain builds have a few configuration variables that affect key
aspects of the build process, like disk space management, file uploads or log
verbosity.
Most of these variables have meaningful defaults (defined in {{init.sh}} in the
toolchain project), so they don't have to be supplied explicitly, and some of
them have effects that are not readily visible, so logging their values at the
start of a build would be a usability improvement.
