-------------------------------
Fix Version/s: Not Applicable
Resolution: Done
BE tests now write minidumps when they crash, and both the dump file and its
backtrace analysis are preserved in the log tarball at the end of the job,
This has been there for a long time now, so closing this issue as "done".
> BE test crashes in jenkins.impala.io save no cores or traces

> On jenkins.impala.io, the "gerrit-verify-dryrun" job used to submit patches,
> if a BE test fails w/ a crash or killed by the OOM killer, there is no way to
> diagnose the failure because no core files/stacks are captured, or
> kern.log/messages/dmesg in the case of OOM. The VMs are not accessible
> publicly either.
