Currently, Impala builds against Snappy 1.1.8. Newer versions regress
significantly with GCC, but provide improvements when built with Clang. (Snappy
is developed and optimized against Clang.) Now that we have a modern Clang
version, we should move to the latest Snappy and build it with Clang.
