Simple test plan to reproduce the issue
The problem is to use Scala programming language in JSR223 Sampler.
The sequence of actions was folowing:
1. Download Scala binaries archive from http://www.scala-lang.org/download/
2. Unpack it to lib folder of JMeter.
3. Start JMeter and ensure scala language is shown in language list of JSR223.
Select it.
4. Write any valid code in Script area and start test plan.
5. Read error messages in JMeter log and console window.
Simple test plan to reproduce the issue is attached.
