You are using a PreProcessor which is executed before every Sampler including Debug Sampler. This is regular behaviour and cannot be changed as there can be existing Test Plna that use Debug Sampler with Child JSR223 PreProcessor to execute some code. So I'll close it as WORKSFORME.
