Don't use ${...} inside of Beanshell or other JSR 223 Samplers/Processors.

The ${...} will be evaluated by JMeter *before* it is passed to the scripting
engine.

Any reason not to use groovy instead of Beanshell?

Have you looked at the boundary extractor, or CSS-Processors?
