My build is being held up by the following error experienced during unix-src
and/or windows-src assembly (issue occurs when processing the directory tag).

/x1/asf/karaf/trunk/assembly/..'

The issue occurs with Maven 2.0.11 and 2.2.1. It appears to be related to how
newer shell commands parse the args "-1laR" passed into ls command.
I'm going to have to build myself another build & release environment with a
version of shell that works well with maven assembly plugin.
