Jonas Bengtsson commented on KARAF-967:
---------------------------------------
I have now tried log:tail with 2.2.8 and 3.0-SNAPSHOT, and it works as it
should with both! I have also tried with all versions between 2.2.4 and 2.2.8,
and the fix seems to have been introduced in 2.2.6.
> Character left in input buffer after using log:tail
> ---------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: KARAF-967
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-967
> Project: Karaf
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: karaf-shell
> Affects Versions: 2.2.4
> Environment: Mac OS X
> Windows 7
> Reporter: Jonas Bengtsson
> Priority: Trivial
>
> I often use log:tail to follow the logs. After I'm done I type Ctrl+C. The
> problem with this is that there seems to be an invisible character (possible
> Ctrl+C) left in the input buffer. If I type a command directly after using
> log:tail, I get a CommandNotFoundException.
> The simple work around is to press backspace each time after using log:tail,
> but this is simple to forget.
