The REST appender is pretty basic: it uses the collected data json as a REST
POST request configured by the user.
However, it doesn't support at least basic authentication, or other REST verb.
It would be great to give more flexibility to users.
On the other hand, the REST collectors (scheduled and servlet) are pretty
minimal in term of configuration.
I will extend gives more flexibility here.
