As part of Karaf 4.5.0, a new distribution will be available: karaf-integration.
This distribution will include Camel, ActiveMQ, etc, as an alternative to
ServiceMix assembly.
Related to that (as mentioned in the Camel mailing list), I'm working on
camel-karaf to support Camel 4 in Karaf 4.5.x.
