I searched on this site, but couldn't find the right information. I apologise in
advance if this has indeed been covered.
I am running Suse 9.3 (2.6.11.4-21.9) with KDE 3.4.3. (dual booting with
Community Connect 3 {an RM version of Windows XP SP2}) I am connected to a
Windows 2000/2003/XP network, with 2003 member servers and 2000 FR. This is so I
can get my internet access. My networked documents are accessible on a Windows
2003 server , and are shared over the network. On any CC3 (Win XP) workstation
across the network, I can login using my domain credentials, and access my
documents.
On my linux box I can access the internet browse network resources etc., but
when I try and open a .doc or similar stored in my Documents on the 2003 server
(formatted with NTFS), I get a login box, and I put my windows credentials in,
but I get a <"Read-Error" Error Reading File> message. I can open other types of
files from the same folder on the same share, but not any associated with
OpenOffice.org 2.0-pre.
Can anyone help???
