Since Kudu uses explicit data types for columns, it's seems feasible to expose
SQL-like metadata for various business intelligence and data exploration tools.
It seems there is some interest to use those tools (e.g. Oracle Metadata
Management) with Kudu. However, there isn't explicit API or specific bindings
for that implemented yet. It would be nice to add this feature.
