The Hadoop project is in the process of releasing 3.0.0, and according to this
page it should happen in August:
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/HADOOP/Hadoop+3.0.0+release
The only exposure we really have is in the kudu-mapreduce Java module, we
should make sure that we can support the new version when it comes out.
Would be interesting to try building against an alpha release.
