I think we should delay this as long as possible unless we have any strong 
benefits for moving forward. We can continue to build for Java 7 even if Spark 
is built for Java 8. If there isn't any major new feature we need from Guava, 
it seems like holding off maximizes the community of users that can use Kudu.
