Anecdotally, I think I've seen these messages in logs even after _not_ noticing
any slowness in the web UI, so I don't think i've seen the 30s timeout cases.
Unfortunately, no interesting context at the moment; I just pasted a snippet
from some logs I saw, long after the message itself was logged.
