Summary: Build hangs in DEBUG type on Ubuntu 18.04 (was: Build failed in
DEBUG type on Ubuntu 18.04)
When Yingchun originally reported this issue in Slack, we weren't able to find
anyone else affected by it. We suspected an issue localized to Yingchun's build
environment.
Yingchun, if this happens again, could you try to figure out what the hung
protoc process is up to? Perhaps strace will help here.
