Because of how the thrift "get_table_objects_by_name" message works on the Hive
side, Kudu should batch (or offer a configuration to batch) calls that have a
large number of names (~100 per batch is likely an appropriate default).
The performance issues with this call are particularly apparent when using the
"kudu hms list" tool.
