Spark provides a mechanism to dynamically adjust the resources your application
needed. This means that in spark cubing procedure, kylin can apply for
resources dynamically, which is very helpful in many cases such as saving
resources and avoid out of memory error. So we need to provide users a easy way
to enable this feature in spark cubing.
