Dawid Weiss commented on SOLR-14016:
------------------------------------

I had been working on getting something more flexible in gradle when I received
an e-mail about this issue, actually. I've committed a piece of code that
calculates the parallelism defaults upon first gradle execution (it does a
recursive run of the same tasks but the newly written defaults are not taken
into account, sadly).

How many cores on that macbook pro, btw.?

> bump the amount of test jvm solr tests

> These tests are sleeping. increasing the concurrency amount by default is an
> easy win. If i forget to supply -Dtests.jvms=<bigger number> then i pay too
> heavy a price in time.
