How does this improve "bin/solr zk blah blah blah"? I admit I haven't looked at
the functionality, just askin'. I also loathe having a zillion ways to do
things that we then have to support.
I realize that this won't need you to drop into a terminal and be able to
execute bin/solr, but is that enough of a benefit?
