For ASF Jenkins there are some complications:
# the puppet installation of ASF installs a default gradle.properties in the 
~/.gradle/gradle.properties file. If we change it, it may be overwritten on 
next puppet deployment (not sure how that works)
# but we can configure a gradle.properties file in the Jnekins configuration 
and tell checkings to deploy it in build dir after checkout. By this gradle 
will see it and pick it up, so the defaults task won't run at all.

I tend to go with option 2, but the complicaion here is: The lucene1 and 
lucene2 nodes have different number of CPUs. How should i make a dynamic 
workers=tests.jvms=XXX here?
